We commit to contributing to the development of the overall destination through a series of policies that create new jobs and business opportunities, enhance local economy, develop infrastructure and accessibility, while promoting the region’s local culture and products.
On this basis, TEMES continuously provides funding and technical expertise for the construction of infrastructure works in the wider region of Messinia. Since the beginning of the Costa Navarino investment, TEMES has spent more than € 11 million for this purpose. These infrastructure works include the commissioning of water management studies, road infrastructure design studies, construction of water tanks, wells and pipelines to improve and modernize the water distribution network of neighboring municipalities, the refurbishment of Kalamata Hospital and a series of other infrastructure works (e.g. playgrounds, public places, public buildings etc.), all aimed at enhancing the quality of life of the local communities.
