Navarino Hills is being developed as a year-round integrated resort with alternative tourism elements featuring additional innovative tourism and recreation facilities, excellent golf, dedicated wellness and countryside activities, while highlighting the uniqueness of the area.
Two new 18-hole golf courses, designed by two-time Masters champion and Ryder Cup legend José Marίa Olazábal, are set above the coastline and offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, the Bay of Navarino and the Ionian Sea.
Named as the ‘World’s Best New Golf Development’ at the 2020 World Golf Awards, Navarino Hills is one of Europe’s newest golf destination. It is home to the first International Olympic Academy Golf Course in the world. Situated over 125 hectares overlooking the historic Bay of Navarino and the Ionian Sea.
The International Olympic Academy Golf Course measures 6,366m in length.
The second new golf course at Navarino Hills, The Hills Course, play to par 72 and measures 6,280m in length.
Alongside the two courses, is The Hills Clubhouse. Designed by acclaimed architect Lubomír Zeman and built using local stone materials, the 2,500m² clubhouse has been created with the aim of achieving class A+ in energy efficiency and features photovoltaic panels.
The Hills Clubhouse is also home to Piqantro – restaurant, cafe and bar, a place that celebrates contemporary Iberian/Western Mediterranean cuisine. Rooted in the classics and drawing on heritage recipes, the cuisine will nevertheless be embracing modern influences as well, offering a more inclusive variety of selections, including healthier, plant based options that refuse to compromise on flavor.
Costa Navarino offers its guests four signature golf courses to enjoy within a maximum distance of 13km from each other, further enhancing its status as one of Europe’s unrivalled golf destinations.
