DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
Our commitments

Costa Navarino is committed to ensure that every guest feels comfortable by anticipating and foreseeing their needs and preferences. In collaboration with the University of Piraeus, Costa Navarino runs surveys to keep up to date with the latest developments in anticipating the needs of people with disabilities.  In addition to this and in collaboration with specialized NGOs, Costa Navarino runs audits throughout it’s premises as well as extensive trainings to all it’s associates to ensure that every need is catered for and that people with disabilities feel welcome and comfortable.

While this is an ongoing process, here are some highlights:

– Training to all our associates in collaboration with the NGO “Me Alla Matia” on accommodating people with disabilities and more specifically people on wheelchairs, blind people and deaf people.  Furthermore a special training for accommodating people in the autism spectrum has been developed and implemented in collaboration with the organization “Open Horizons”

– A list of actions to accommodate the needs of people with disabilities. Indicatively we offer free accessibility to the beaches in front of the resorts of Costa Navarino, extra ramps to make all venues accessible, special kits for people with hearing impairments, special lighting and room re-arrangements for people with visual impairments, weighted blankets for people with autism

– Continuous audits of all our facilities so as to further improve and make our venues more accessible and comfortable for all

Costa Navarino is also committed to embrace diversity and W Costa Navarino is the first hotel in the world that has been accredited by the IGLTA (International LGBTQ+ Travel Association) for its inclusive practices. Some examples include, gender neutral restrooms, gender neutral amenities, as well as amenities for special hair and skin types.
