A microcosm of entertainment and activities
6. Visit Navarino Agora, a contemporary take on the Greek ancient Agora concept. Open to everyone, including non-guests, Navarino Agora is a curated marketplace and incubator of art and culture. Visitors can explore handpicked retail stores, an array of artisanal street food, music, art, and cinema entertainment as well as pop-up markets and events.
Sports and activities for every taste
7. Whether you’re a novice or a pro, grab the chance to play golf on some of the most beautiful courses in the world. With four signature 18-hole golf courses offering idyllic views of Navarino Bay and the surrounding countryside, Costa Navarino has become one of the most renowned golf destinations in Europe and beyond.
8. Tennis lovers can improve their skills at the state-of-the-art Mouratoglou Tennis Center, Costa Navarino. The coaches will train you like a pro through private lessons or tennis clinics and camps.
9. Enhance your skills at the NBA Basketball School, the first of its kind. Returning in 2025, it offers young players aged 6 to 18 and adults a unique opportunity to train with elite coaches using the NBA approach.
10. Immerse yourself in Messinian nature through a wide variety of outdoor activities. Explore beaches, waterfalls, and scenic trails with guided biking or hiking tours.
11. For some extra “vitamin sea,” discover a wide range of water sports activities. Enjoy wakeboarding, waterskiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, yachting, sailing, kayaking, or paddle boarding.
Discovering elevated gastronomy
12. Explore the vast variety of cuisines represented at over 40 dining venues throughout Costa Navarino. While chefs at the destination’s restaurants are dedicated to sourcing ingredients locally, inspiration comes from all corners of the world, offering dishes from homestyle Mediterranean and authentic Messinian fare to fine Asian dining, Middle Eastern delights, and barbecue.
13. For poolside refreshments, exquisite wines, sunset cocktails, light snacks, drinks and dancing, find the perfect spot at one of the destination’s bars and lounges. Don’t miss a visit to the brand-new Eleon Pool, with elegant loungers and a stylish poolside bar serving signature drinks and gourmet dishes to adults and young adults over 12 years old.
14. With so many things to do, you’ll likely find yourself in need of your favorite energy booster. At Costa Navarino’s many cafés, you’ll find quality coffee, snacks and sweets. Besides settling your craving, why not try some of the local delicacies: honey-drizzled pastries, local cheeses, superfood bars, and goat’s milk ice cream, to name a few.
Exploring history and nature
15. Messinia is home to a plethora of interesting sights, including both historical landmarks and natural wonders. The area has been inhabited since ancient times, which you will discover on a guided tour of the 13th-12th century BC Palace of Nestor, located in the hills above Costa Navarino.
16. Visit Ancient Messene to see some of Greece’s best-preserved ancient fortification walls and explore the city built in 369 BC.
17. For a dose of more recent history, you may compare those earlier structures to the defensive walls of Neokastro, a 1573 Ottoman fortress at nearby Pylos.
18. Explore Andromonastiro, a 14th-century Byzantine monastery founded by the emperor Andronicus IV Palaeologus.
19. No visit to Costa Navarino would be complete without a swim at the world-famous Voidokilia Beach, otherwise known as “Omega” (Ω) beach for its lagoon-like shape resembling the Greek letter.
20. Near Voidokilia, pay a visit to Gialova Lagoon, part of the Natura 2000 network and a key stopover for hundreds of species of migratory birds. If you are lucky, you may see pink flamingos, black-winged stilts, and even African chameleons.
Locally inspired signature experiences
21. Authentic local experiences are found in abundance at Costa Navarino. Make sure you take an authentic village cooking class with the locals and prepare recipes that have been passed down through generations. Alternatively, try olive oil tasting or take part in olive harvesting if you are around in the fall.
22. Join a philosophy walk in an olive grove led by classical scholars; an opportunity to discuss modern-day issues inspired by the thinking of ancient Greek philosophers.
23. Try your hand at catch-and-release fishing from the shores of the Gialova Lagoon on a fishing and birdwatching outing.
24. Explore the cosmos on an astronomy night to remember, organized by Navarino Environmental Observatory and Navarino Natura Hall.
Own a home
25. Make your dreams come true by making Messinia your home and becoming part of a vibrant community at Costa Navarino. Costa Navarino Residences feature freehold luxury villas and apartments for private ownership, developed within the multi-awarded Navarino Dunes area. Residence owners enjoy privileged access to all resort services, sports facilities, golf courses and events as well as exclusive benefits available only to them.
