Wallpaper* magazine this week has noted the completion of the first private residences at Costa Navarino. The article, which highlights the successful achievement by the architects in designing homes that are at once luxurious and integrated with their natural surroundings, showcases one of the houses in the Sea Dunes neighborhood, and commends the location.
The Costa Navarino Residences consist of off-plan, fully customizable, and turn-key houses, available in three different residential neighborhoods in the Navarino Dunes area. While each home is different, they share the common indoor-outdoor living philosophy, with features that effectively blur the line between their inside spaces and their patio-, pool- and garden areas. The result is, as the magazine describes it, serene architectural neighborhoods engulfed in the natural landscape with Mediterranean plants, sand dunes and olive groves.
“The idyllic Costa Navarino estate in the Peloponnese has long been a coveted destination for the archetypal Greek summer offering – sun, sea, good food and carefree sunsets – mixed with the finest contemporary luxury and a design-led attitude,” the magazine writes. So, do the private residences measure up? “The architecture team worked hard at interpreting the context’s nature and lifestyle offering into design terms, in a whole that feels modern but also appropriate for its location,” it comments.
