Basketball Camp “Zisis & Friends” 25-29 June 2017

The very successful Basketball Camp strikes back, for 5th consequent year!

Days of basketball fun from 25-29 June with the participation of  children, parents and acclaimed coaches at the FIBA standard basketball court of The Westin Resort, Costa Navarino. The children will have the opportunity to learn from international players and coaches during an intense but highly enjoyable training program. The training sessions were led by the internationally renowned basketball player Nikos Zisis, who revealed a number of basketball secrets, tips to develop their physical condition and competences and will improve their skills and teamwork as well as  useful advice about nutrition and health.

About Nikos Zisis

Born: 16 Aug 1983 – Height: 1.97 – Position: Point guard

Previous teams: YMCA Thessaloniki, ΑΕΚ Athens (2000-05), Benetton (2005-07), CSKA Moscow (2007-09), Montepaschi Siena (2009-2012), Bilbao (2012-13), Unics Kazan (2013-14), Fenerbahçe (2014-15), Brose Bamberg (since 2015).

Member of the Greek National Team since 2001, Nikos Zisis scored 1455 points at 189 games and won the gold medal at the 2005 European Championship, the silver medal at the 2006 World Championship, and the bronze medal at the 2009 European Championship.  Nikos Zisis also played at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, at the 2010 and 2014 World Championships and at 2007, 2011, 2013 and 2015 European Championships. Nikos Zisis additionally won the 2008 EuroLeague with CSKA Moscow, the 2001-02 Greek National Championship with AEK Athens, the 2005-06 Italian National Championship with Benetton Basket Treviso, the 2007-08 and 2008-09 Russian National Championship with CSKA Moscow, the 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2011-12 Italian National Championship with Mens Sana Basket Siena, the 2015-16 German National Championship with Brose Baskets Bamberg, and the 2001 Greek National Cup with AEK Athens, the 2007 Italian National Cup with Benetton Basket Treviso, the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Italian National Cup with Mens Sana Basket Siena, the 2014 Russian Cup with Unics Kazan, the 2017 German National Cup with Brose Baskets Bamber, the 2006 Italian Super Cup with Benetton Basket Treviso, the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Italian Super Cup with Mens Sana Basket Siena. As a member of the Greek Under-16, U-18 and U-20 National Team, Nikos Zisis also won the silver medal at the 1999 European Under-16 Championship, the bronze medal at the 2000 European Under-18 Championshi, and the gold medal at the European U-20 Championship.
